“The electronics shop said
my Furuno radar was salt damaged beyond repair and a new $1,600 circuit
board was required. That night my daughter and I scrubbed all the boards
with CorrosionX; the next morning after re-assembly and installation, the
radar performed like new!” William D. Bryant, (Vero Beach, FL)
“When I go to the lake, I’m there for one reason ... to catch fish. I don’t
want to mess with corroded battery cables, fuse terminals or electronics
gear that’s not working because of bad connections. That’s why I us CorrosinX.
A squirt a month on the trailer lights, motor, tackle, and electronic gear
keeps them working 100% of the time. It beats all other so-called lubricants
and corrosion busters on the market today. More fishing, less fuss!” J.S.
Nemeth, (Universal City, TX)
Case Study:
Situation - A swing bridge in Sergeant, Texas, operated by Texas Dept. of
Transportation, requires two 5/8” x 600’ cables to open and close.
Problem - Approximately 200’ of each cable is submerged under salt water
when the bridge is closed. Rapid deterioration of the cables requires replacement
every 57 days on average.
Solution - Since the test cable had already been in use for two weeks and
rust was evident, the entire cable was first treated with CorrosionX prior
to applying CorrosionX Heavy Duty.
Results - At last report the cable had exceeded 132 days with no sign of
further deterioration. The cable is being inspected two times per week for
fraying and stiffness.
Savings - Cable cost is estimated to be reduced by 50 to 75 %. From now
on, new cables will be treated at time of installation and every 30 days
thereafter.
